Whose school is it anyway?
In March 2016, CfGS held a roundtable on school accountability, inviting senior academics, journalists and school leaders to debate key questions on the changes to education policy that have taken place over the past decade. Who maintains oversight over education standards in a local area? Is academisation making accountability stronger, or more remote? What role should councillors play in education oversight, if any?
