Posted on 05/04/2014 by Ed Hammond. Tags: ,

This guide is about the different sources of information which scrutiny can use to carry out its work. It provides a guide to the principal documents which, between them, should give scrutiny councillors the confidence to know that they are getting an accurate and timely picture of the performance of the counciland its partners. It also provides some guidance about how this evidence might be triangulated (ie, how you can look at multiple sources of evidence together to show you the full story).
