Scrutiny Frontiers 2020/21: experiences from the frontline

Posted on 05/08/2021 by Kate Grigg.

This third edition of Scrutiny Frontiers captures some of the scrutiny success stories from the experience of Covid-19 and beyond. We hope this provides a platform upon which to share the value that scrutiny can add to council decision-making and the communities it serves.

In this publication we hear directly from a range of local authorities about their experiences, providing an opportunity to reflect, learn and gain awareness of what is possible with scrutiny. A range of methods and approaches are outlined, highlighting aims, challenges and key components to successful scrutiny work.

CfGS would like to thank all councils who contributed to this publication. These submissions were compiled by Charlotte Crowley. If you are interested in featuring in a future edition of Scrutiny Frontiers, email info@cfgs.org.uk
