Don Massey

Don’s background is in finance, originally in banking at NatWest, where he undertook a wide variety of managerial roles including Corporate Account Management and Audit.  He then went onto work for Gresham, a Private Equity firm, where he ran their Banking Licence as well as managing their Treasury book and general operations.

Don was a local councillor in the London Borough of Bexley, where he was Deputy Leader and the Cabinet Member for Finance & Corporate Services. He was a Cabinet Member for six years and prior to that was an Overview & Scrutiny Chairman for six years and Pensions Committee Chairman for three years.

He is a Governor at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, the specialist international Drama School in Sidcup.  Previously he was a member of the Court of the University of Kent and he has also served as a Magistrate on the South East London Bench.
