This introductory course, ‘Effective challenge of safeguarding children systems’, helps officers and members to effectively question and challenge child protection systems in their authority.
Designed for non-specialists, attendees will be helped to navigate the complexities of safeguarding, understand where responsibilities lie, identify some of the warning signs to look out for and gain the skills to better assure that safeguarding systems provide robust child protection in their area.
