Post-pandemic scrutiny: roundtable for members and officers
As part of our Government-funded support to the sector, CfGS is organising a number of roundtables between now and the end of the municipal year, to reflect on experiences of the pandemic and understand how our approaches to governance and scrutiny have changed. We hope to use these to chart a way forward for councils to strengthen and transform governance.
Each of these roundtables will provide a space for you to reflect on your recent experiences, and your hopes for the future, with your peers. We are keen to use the opportunity to understand, practically, what innovation in governance and scrutiny look like in the context of our experience of the past two years.
The roundtables will each last about an hour and a quarter, will take place remotely, and will involve a maximum of twelve people. As such, we would urge you to book your places quickly.
