Summary
Health providers and their partner organisations have been on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic. The impact has been unprecedented, with every part of the health service having to adjust, respond and manage complex changes in real time. From ambulance services, primary care providers, A&E and acute care, and specialist services – the entire service has been, and remains, on high alert.
But, this is also a time to rethink how healthcare might change in the future and what that could mean for communities and patients.
Scrutiny and oversight of both the impact and the future options for health present council scrutiny committees with a significant challenge.
This webinar takes a closer look at some of the key issues and how scrutiny, together with health partners, might choose to prioritise and focus on this task.
This webinar is limited to 30 participants, although we may run additional sessions according to demand.
