Kieran Timmins

Kieran is an Executive Director with considerable experience in (nearly) the full range of sectors of managing transformational change and a national reputation for excellence. 

A former Local Authority Treasurer and Deputy Chief Executive, he has also had good experience working in Director of Corporate Services roles in the Housing and Charity Sectors and has been actively involved in good governance from ‘both sides of the fence’ for over 25 years.  A former adviser to the LGA and the National Fire Chiefs council he has also worked closely with central government.

A passionate advocate for the ability of the housing sector to support neighbourhoods and transform lives he has been a board member for 25 years and currently chairs Cobalt in North Liverpool and is deputy chair at a specialist provider of services to older people.  He has also been involved at board level in the health sector.

Having been involved in the LGA peer review process for many years Kieran joined us as an associate relatively recently and has done work on member and officer relationships
