Effective use of evidence and data in scrutiny

November 1, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£179

For most members and officers tasked with scrutiny, the problem isn’t about lacking the necessary information – it’s having too much. Making sure that scrutiny remains focussed and incisive requires a forensic and analytical approach to evidence and data.

This course will help attendees to make sure they ask for, and are able to analyse, the key data required to pursue their lines of enquiry. It will enable them to have a better grasp on planning and performance and effectively hold cabinet members and officers to account.

Places cost £179 + VAT per person for voluntary/charity and Local Authority and £275 + VAT per person for commercial sector delegate.
