Getting the most from financial scrutiny

September 26, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£195
Understanding council finances is an important element of the scrutiny armoury.

Many members shy away from involvement in the function because they often lack the confidence to get behind the figures presented to them and feel reluctant to challenge those in financial roles.

At this training event, members will develop the expertise and the skills necessary to adequately scrutinise all elements of local government finance – from financial planning and performance monitoring, to resource allocation processes and budget scrutiny.

90% of delegates on this course thought the event was good or excellent.

Places cost £195 + VAT per person for Local Authority delegates and £225 + VAT per person for commercial sector delegates.

Buy 3 get 1 free – In recognition that authorities may benefit from sending multiple delegates to the same training event. This discount is applied automatically at check-out.

Full programme and timings to follow shortly.
