The National Housing Federation is launching ‘Together with Tenants’, a new national initiative to create a stronger relationship between tenants and housing associations.

The creation of a new national Tenant Advisory Panel is an important part of this plan.

The Tenant Panel will advise, support and challenge the Federation as they develop and implement plans aimed at improving relations between tenants, residents and their landlords.

Applicants will need to be currently living in a housing association home in England. Experience of tenant involvement isn’t needed but you will need a curious mind, a passion to improve things and a willingness to work well with others. The National Housing Federation values and promotes diversity and is committed to equality of opportunity for all.

The Panel will meet four times a year in London, expenses and other reimbursement will be paid.

The Centre for Governance and Scrutiny will set up, oversee and provide support to the Panel. CfGS is an independent charity specialising in governance.
