Making a start with Scrutiny - approaches, structures and resources

We have now reached capacity for this event and tickets are closed. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. Please let us know if you are unable to attend so that we can reallocate your place.
Contact info@cfgs.org.uk to get on the waiting list.
Due to the high level of interest, we will be arranging an additional session later this year.

New to scrutiny? Or feel like you could use a refresher?

Join us for a practical, friendly 90‑minute lunchtime session to help you feel more confident in your scrutiny role.

Taking place online on 11 June at 12 noon, this interactive learning event uses live polls and discussion to get people talking about what really makes scrutiny work.

We’ll look at approach, structures and resources – and what makes the biggest difference in practice.

Come along to share experiences, pick up simple ideas, and leave with practical tips you can use straight away.
