Evie joins CfGS as a Project Officer following her graduation from the University of York with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in democratic participation and political equality, areas she is excited to continue exploring through her work at CfGS. In this role she supports the delivery of internal and external projects alongside workshops for clients.
Before joining CfGS, Evie worked in a variety of administrative roles, as well as serving as the Treasurer for the charity All Should Eat, supporting efforts to reduce food poverty and food waste across York. She also developed a project proposal focused on voting behaviour, gaining valuable research and project management experience. She looks forward to applying and expanding these skills while contributing to larger projects that support councils and organisations working to strengthen governance and public engagement.
Evie is passionate about the role of effective governance in creating positive outcomes and believes that strong communication and collaboration are essential to successful decision-making, leadership and ensuring systems work for all those involved.
