Join us at the London Assembly and Centre for Governance and Scrutiny conference on the future of Mayoral scrutiny
We’re excited to announce we’re teaming up with the London Assembly to host a special conference on mayoral scrutiny...
The Government’s devolution agenda is moving at pace, creating new and upgraded Mayoral systems across England. But as Mayors gain new powers and grow in influence, the question of how they are held to account is more important than ever.
We’re delighted to be co-hosting this event, at a critical moment for the development of mayoral scrutiny. We hope that if you are working in or with a combined authority – or are looking forward to the development of one in your area – you’ll join us.
There will be workshops, panel discussions and keynote speeches, where you can engage with experts and peers to explore varying approaches to Mayoral scrutiny.
- Date: Thursday 27 November 2025
- Time: 11:00 to 17:00
- Location: City Hall, London E16 1ZE
